THE GROWTH OF THE STUDENT DESIGN COMMUNITY
Taking a departure from designing itself, this article allowed me to verbally explore the idea of the student design community and how it can be more consciously nurtured to stimulate dialogue about pressing contemporary issues.

Drawing on an example from a group project I participated in during a third-year class, I discuss how it was an example of how dialogue between design students is cruicial to critical thinking and how it will ultimately contribute to well-rounded-ness in our own design practice.
